Kelsey has more than 20 years of experience supporting children, youth, adults, couples and families. Throughout her career, she has worked in the areas of mental health, addictions, disabilities, corrections and Children’s Services, giving her extensive experience supporting people through complex challenges and difficult seasons of life.
Kelsey especially enjoys working with couples and families. In couples counselling, she supports partners who may feel disconnected, stuck in recurring conflict, struggling with communication or trying to rebuild trust and connection. She helps couples better understand one another, recognize patterns affecting their relationship and develop healthier ways to communicate and move forward together.
Her work with children and families is informed by training in play therapy and Level One training in Theraplay®, an attachment-based approach that uses playful, structured interactions to strengthen connection and the parent-child relationship.
Above all, Kelsey believes counselling should feel safe, supportive and human. Her approach is warm, compassionate and non-judgmental, meeting clients where they are while helping them better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships and create meaningful change in their lives.
